STARTER · LAWSOFT MIGRATION

Starter: keep your core features

Starter offers a migration path for firms that want to keep their monthly fee and core Law Office features. Moving to this plan does not increase your monthly fee; usual contractual price adjustments still apply.

Existing customizations will be preserved where technically compatible with the new platform. Starter does not allow new customizations or changes to the customization settings for Builder automation or Assistant and Intelligence AI features.

AI CREDITS

AI credits are purchased separately

The migration terms do not include AI credits. To use the AI features available in your plan, you will need a separate credit subscription. Starter’s core management features can be used without it.

    Our team will review your firm’s workflows, data, integrations and existing customizations with you. This assessment will guide the migration preparation and schedule.

    Prepare the transfer and check the results

    We will migrate your firm to Cases and Finance and verify the transferred data and workflows. Existing integrations and customizations will be retained unless technically incompatible with the new platform.

  3. 03

    Get your team ready for the new platform

    We will provide basic training to introduce your team to the platform and its main workflows. Migration and this training will be provided at no charge for these services.*

*If on-site assistance outside São Paulo is needed, expenses such as travel and accommodation may be reimbursable.

If the proposed period does not work for your firm, we can arrange migration in the following quarter with another group of clients, within the overall completion schedule for 2028.

  1. FIRM MIGRATIONS

    Throughout 2027

    We will contact firms still using only Law Office to arrange their migration. Work will be organized in groups of clients, with timing agreed with each firm.

  2. APPLICATION REMAINS ACTIVE

    At least until December 2027

    The Lawsoft application will remain active. Some features will still be used there during the transition.

  3. FIRM MIGRATIONS

    During 2028

    We will complete the migration of all clients to Looplex Cases and Finance.

Will all Lawsoft clients be migrated?

Yes. All Lawsoft clients will be migrated to Looplex Cases and Finance, with completion during 2028. We will agree on a plan with each firm, taking into account the steps needed for the transition.

How long can I keep using the current application?

The Lawsoft application will remain active at least until December 2027, with some features still used there during the transition. Access to the current application will end once migration is complete.

Will migration increase my monthly fee?

You can migrate to Starter without a transition-related increase in your monthly fee. Your usual contractual price adjustments will still apply. Other plans, additional features and AI credits have their own terms.

What will Starter include for my firm?

The migration Starter plan will include at least the core features of your Law Office, with matter and work management in Cases and financial management in Finance. The scope that applies to your firm will be presented during migration planning.

What are Starter’s customization limits?

Starter does not allow new customizations or changes to the customization settings for Builder automation or Assistant and Intelligence AI features. Compatible existing customizations will be preserved. If you need broader customization options, our team can present other plans.

Do I need AI credits to use Starter?

Not for its core management features. AI credits are not included in the migration terms and require a separate subscription to use the AI features available in your plan.

Will there be a charge for migration or training?

Our team will carry out the full migration and basic training at no charge for these services. If on-site assistance outside São Paulo is needed, expenses such as travel and accommodation may be reimbursable.

How will my data and history be handled?

Our team will manage the data migration. During preparation, we will identify the records, documents and history your firm uses and how they will be organized in the new platform. Transfer and verification steps will be agreed during this planning process.

Will my integrations and customizations continue to work?

Existing integrations and customizations will be retained unless technically incompatible with the new platform. Compatibility will be assessed during migration preparation. On Starter, retaining existing customizations does not include the ability to create new ones or change customization settings in Builder, Assistant and Intelligence.

How will I know when my firm will migrate?

Throughout 2027, we will contact firms still using only Law Office. Our team will present a proposed period and agree on the transition steps. You can also contact us before then to learn about the terms and start planning.

Can I change the proposed migration period?

Yes. If the proposed period does not work for you, we can arrange migration in the following quarter with another group of clients. Rescheduling will be agreed with our team and must fit within the overall migration completion schedule for 2028.

Do I need to wait for Looplex to contact me before asking questions?

No. You can talk to the migration team to understand the Starter terms, explore Cases and Finance, and discuss your firm’s needs.

Starter scope

Finalize the core feature matrix and how each client’s scope will be preserved. Specify users, storage, limits and any add-ons. Similarity to the former Basic plan is an internal reference, not a claim of full equivalence. No migration-related fee increase and continued usual contractual adjustments are already confirmed.

Data and verification

Finalize the inventory of data, history, documents and settings to migrate, verification criteria and exception handling. The copy does not promise unrestricted transfer of every record, preservation of every report or zero downtime. Confirm the process described in the migration section and FAQ.

Technical incompatibilities

Define how to communicate and handle incompatible integrations or customizations, including alternatives and any required adaptation. Preservation of compatible customizations and Starter’s restrictions on new customizations and changes are already confirmed. Do not promise to rebuild incompatible features before defining that scope.

Basic training

Define content, format, duration, participants and supporting materials. Basic training at no charge is confirmed; do not advertise a number of hours, unlimited sessions or advanced training.
